AR Compass is an augmented reality compass that overlays heading, coordinates, and distance information on your camera view. AR Compass combines your device sensors and GPS to show real-time bearing and a north indicator, and AR Compass provides simple calibration tools and a map view for reference.

How it works

The app uses the camera, magnetometer, accelerometer and GPS to merge sensor data with the live view. Calibrate the compass by following on-screen guidance and allow location and camera access for full functionality.

Privacy and permissions

AR Compass requires camera and location permissions to display augmented reality direction and location data. Sensor data is processed on-device and no account is required. You can use the app offline for basic compass functions.
