In the first few taps Smart Stream lets you describe what you want in plain English — anything from “funny 90s heist movies” to “that one with the cursed videotape” — and returns playable titles filtered to the subscriptions you add, reducing time spent jumping between apps and helping you pick something to watch faster.
Smart Stream combines natural-language search, curated browsing and a synced watchlist so results feel relevant and immediately actionable. The search understands casual, conversational queries and explains, in one line, why each title matched your request. You can limit results to the streaming platforms you subscribe to, view posters and ratings at a glance, and save items to My List for later. AI searches are available through a transparent credit-based pay-as-you-go system after the complimentary starter credits are used, and basic browsing, saving and core recommendations remain free to use.
Interaction is intentionally simple: type or speak a short request in plain language, then refine results with toggles for platform, release year, genre and availability. Tap a poster to expand details and see the one-line relevance note, then add to My List with a single action. Credit use is clearly shown before any AI-powered search runs, and you can purchase credits inside the app without committing to a recurring subscription. Signing in with Google is required to connect and sync your streaming services and personal preferences across devices.

Smart Stream is built with accessibility in mind, offering adjustable text sizes, high-contrast elements and support for common screen readers so the app is usable for a wide range of users. While full playback always opens the provider’s app or web player, the app caches your My List and recent search results so you can access saved titles and explanations while offline; streaming requires an internet connection and is handled by the destination service.
